Jewelry has always been more than a craft to me — it has been a way to hold onto what matters most.
My journey began in fine jewelry, creating elevated pieces with traditional techniques. But everything changed during my college years, when I turned a handwritten note from my grandfather into a necklace, carefully replicating every curve of his handwriting. Wearing it each day brought comfort, connection, and a sense that he was still close.
What I didn’t expect was how deeply it resonated with others. Friends and family were moved by the idea of wearing something so personal — something meaningful. Soon, people began asking for their own custom pieces. However, as students, many couldn’t afford luxury jewelry. That’s when my vision became clear: to create sentimental jewelry that is beautifully made and genuinely accessible.
Around that time, I met my husband, Mike. From the very beginning, he believed wholeheartedly in the dream. He packed orders late into the night, answered customer messages, and imagined the future with me. Together, we grew BrilliantBangles from a small living-room operation into a brand built on love, memory, and intention.
Every piece we create today is inspired by that first necklace — jewelry designed to honor people, moments, and stories that deserve to be remembered.
